Specialist Podiatry Care for Your Feet
KEEPING YOU COMFORTABLE AND MOBILE
KEEPING YOU COMFORTABLE AND MOBILE

I studied at The University of Salford where I gained a Batchelor of Science Degree with honours in Podiatry.
After qualifying, I worked in the NHS for 6 years gaining experience in all disciplines of the profession. Diabetic foot care was main area that I worked within.
I went on to set up a private practice in 2021. My professional registration is with the Royal College of Podiatry [reg no 34269] and the Health Care Professions Council [ reg no CH34236]
In order to maintain registration with the HCPC we are required to participate in continued professional development. Each year I attend conferences and meetings and complete various training courses to keep up my knowledge relevant, up to date and keep up relations with other health care professionals.
I love my job. I meet so many people from all walks of life and its so rewarding when I can help to eliminate pain, improve mobility and general well being.
I look forward to welcoming to you my practice .

Diabetic Foot Assessment
People with diabetes are at increased risk of developing foot complications. This is due to reduced circulation and damage to nerve endings which can result in altered sensation in the legs and feet [neuropathy].
At this assessment foot pulses will be checked and a test to determine whether you have any neurological deficit will be undertaken. Foot structure and skin condition will also be assessed. At the end of the assessment you will be advised of your individual risk of complications and how best to take care of your feet. A health education leaflet will be issued.
